Brandon F.
De Bruhl

I am a management and strategy scholar and political economist studying how regulatory institutions shape the adoption and governance of emerging technologies, with a focus on artificial intelligence in regulated financial markets, defense, and national security. My work examines how rule systems govern firm behavior, capital allocation, and productive capacity, drawing on political economy and computational methods. I teach economics, finance, public policy, and quantitative methods at USC, RAND, and LMU.
